FT Case Manager- Toms River Location

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate daily job readiness workshops and group sessions.

• Provide individualized career coaching and support, including skill assessment and goal setting.

• Develop and implement personalized employment plans with actionable job search strategies.

• Assist clients with resume writing, application processes, and interview preparation.

• Identify and connect clients with suitable employment opportunities through employer outreach and job market research.

• Maintain accurate and timely client records and documentation in compliance with program guidelines.

• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance program delivery and ensure participant success.

• Support clients in attaining industry-valued credentials.

• Build and maintain partnerships with local employers, training providers, and community organizations.

• Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Social Work, Education, or a related field (or equivalent experience) preferred.

• Prior experience in employment services, workforce development, or human services is preferred.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Strong organizational and time management abilities.

• Experience working with diverse populations and addressing employment barriers.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and online job search platforms.

Compensation:
Starting at $20/hour, commensurate with experience.

Days/Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-4pm

Counseling Department

 Position: Licensed Therapist/Counselor

Therapists will provide compassionate, affordable, and professional mental health support to individuals, couples, and families in Ocean County. With a focus on inclusivity, we serve clients of all ages, backgrounds, and income levels.

Requirements:

·      Must complete 40-hour Confidential Sexual Violence Advocate Training (provided free of charge by the agency) and engage with coverage of 24/7 hotline shifts throughout the month.

·      Must hold a current Professional License: LSW, LAC, LPC or LCSW

Clinical supervision is provided at no cost to the employee.

Trainings and professional development are provided at no cost to the employee.

Days/Hours: Full time- 40 hours a week Monday to Friday (Some evening hours required)

Salary- $ 49,920 per year

Position: Children’s Services Coordinator

Must have experience working directly with children and families, as well as staff supervision. Must have strong communication, organizational, and leadership abilities, alongside knowledge of child development and safety regulations. Degree in Early Childhood or CDA preferred.

Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing all school aged programs and Summer Vacation club, will assist the Director in maintaining children’s files, assist in planning fundraisers, events, and field trips. Will be expected to assist in classrooms when needed for coverage.

Must be at least 18 years old, be able to lift 50lbs, have reliable transportation to work, and be able to engage in a wide range of movements (bending, kneeling, sitting on the floor and standing for long periods of time).

Days: Monday Through Friday- Full time 40hrs+

Pay: $18.50-$20 depending on experience/degree

Children’s Services

Position: Teacher’s Assistant

Great position for someone pursuing a career working with children! We will work around school schedule when pursing a degree in education or related field. Seeking a person with a warm, nurturing, and friendly personality, be able to relate well with children and families. Be willing to fulfill his/her responsibilities in accordance with the Center’s/Children’s Services Philosophy/Mission Statement.  Prefer a background in early childhood education.

(13-months to 2-years of age).  First Aid & CPR Certified and/or Bi-Lingual in Spanish a plus.

Position: Full-time (40 plus hours)

Days: Monday-Friday

Pay: $15.92 (Increasing to $16.48 on Jan 1st)

Family Support Services

Position: Auto Ownership Caseworker/Human Concerns Caseworker

Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree in social work or related field

Days/Hours: 35 Hours a week Monday- Friday

Pay: $20 per hour

Experience / Qualifications Required: The Case Manager must be experienced and skilled in case management, client communications, and assisting individuals with a variety of life skills and support needs. The position works extensively with clients referred by the Board of Social Services Case Management Team. Applicants must be able to:

·      Demonstrate strong case management, organizational and communication skills.

·      Be able to work collaboratively with multiple agencies, businesses, community organizations, and service providers.

·      Maintain strict confidentiality regarding client and organizational information

·      Must possess a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation.  Personal vehicle will be used for work related travel as needed and St Francis will provide mileage reimbursement.

Position Description: This position requires adherence to the mission and objectives of St Francis Center as outlined in the policies and procedures manual. The responsibilities of this position are split between the Auto Ownership Program and Human Concerns /Food Pantry Department.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Program compliance, assessing donated vehicles and communicating with authorized repair shops, maintaining client files, program reporting and statistics, providing resources and referrals to clients, assisting in the food pantry and providing support to volunteers. Applicants must be able to lift 40lbs and be able to engage in a wide range of movements including standing for long periods of time.

Aquatics

Position: Swim Instructor/Lifeguard

Part time employment for a year-round indoor pool and 2 seasonal outdoor pools.  MUST currently possess Red Cross pool lifeguard certification, CPR/AED and First Aid Certification.

Instructors needed for youth and adult private swim lessons and youth group lessons.

Days/Hours: Weekdays/weekends- Hours range from 8-29 per week,

Pay: $16.50 per hour
