We are hiring for the following positions:
CENTER:

  • Counseling Department

    Position: Licensed Counselor/Therapist

    Must complete 40-hour Confidential Sexual Violence Advocate Training (provided free of charge by the agency). Must hold a current Professional License: LSW, LAC, LPC or LCSW

    Clinical supervision provided at no cost to the employee.

    Days/Hours: Full time- 40 hours a week Monday to Friday (Some evening hours required)

    Salary- $ 49,920 per year

    Prefer a background in early childhood education or prior childcare experience.

    Will work with children 13-months to 5-years of age. 

    Bi-Lingual in Spanish a plus. Will provide First Aid & CPR training if not already held.

    Position: Full-time (40 plus hours) and Part-time (29 hours)

    Days: Monday-Friday

    Pay: $15.92/hr

  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO)- Seeking an individual to serve as CPO for the St Francis Aquatic Center. CPO Certification is Preferred. Please note: CPO Certification required within 30 days of hire if no certification is currently held– Certification fee paid by St Francis aquatics. Will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and maintenance of our aquatics facility including one indoor and two outdoor (seasonal) pools.

    Part time position with flexible schedule

    Pay: $17.00/hr

  • Help mentor the next generation of lifeguards! St. Francis Aquatics is looking for an Assistant Coach or Volunteer Assistant Coach to help support our new Lifeguard in Training (LIT) Clinic. This program is designed to introduce young participants to the skills, responsibilities, and teamwork required to become future lifeguards. The assistant coach will help guide participants through swimming drills, basic lifesaving skills, teamwork exercises, and overall water readiness while supporting the lead instructor during the clinic. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with youth, mentoring future lifeguards, and being part of a positive aquatics environment.   • This position is responsible for the safety and well-being of children ages 9-13 years old enrolled in our Vacation Club program. Supervisor is expected to prepare and implement developmentally appropriate weekly lesson plans according to the weekly theme. Will supervise the teacher assistants to ensure they are following planned activities, and hygiene and safety standards.

     

    Applicants must have a background in early childhood education, child development and/or experience in working with children. Must have a high school diploma, Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s Degree or be working towards such degree related to child development. Must be 18 years or older. Must be able to effectively communicate with staff and parents. Must be able to engage in wide range of movement (kneeling, stooping, bending, standing for long periods of time, sitting on floor). Must be able to lift 50lbs.

    First aid/CPR certification required- we will provide training if not already held.

    Must be available June 22nd – Sept 3rd

    Full Time Seasonal (40+ hrs.) Monday through Friday

    Pay: $17 per hour

  • Position: Summer Seasonal Lifeguard (possibility for year-round part time hours)

    Summer employment for an indoor pool and 2 seasonal outdoor pools.

    MUST currently possess Red Cross pool lifeguard certification, CPR/AED and First Aid Certification.

    Days: Monday-Friday, and/or weekend – flexible schedule

    Pay: $15.92 per hour

  • Position: Private Swim Lesson Instructors (possibility for year-round part time hours)

    Summer employment for an indoor pool and 2 seasonal outdoor pools.

    Pool lifeguard certification, CPR/AED and First Aid Certification are not required but preferred.

    For weekday lessons 8am-4pm, Age 4 years to adults

    Days/Hours: Monday-Friday, Hours range from 8-29 per week, (may occasionally exceed 29 hours)

    Pay: $16.50 per hour

  • Bilingual Parent Educator- Parents as Teachers Program

    Full Time Employment – 40 hours-Monday-Friday

    starting $20 per hour depending on experience

    Applicants must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Education, Psychology or related field.  Experience working with children (0-5 years), knowledge of child development and parent-child relationships; flexible availability, non-judgmental and empathetic, knowledge about community resources, ability to establish personal/programmatic boundaries while providing supportive services,  Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills  and maintain confidentiality.  Applicants must be fluent in both English and Spanish.

     

    Parent Educator will be required to travel throughout Southern Ocean County for home visits and must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

    Background check and fingerprinting required.

PARISH:

  • Part time Cleaning Staff. Some experience/knowledge in the housekeeping field is preferred, not required. Perform scheduled and unscheduled cleaning of Community Center and Parish Properties, driving may be required. Assist with scheduled and unscheduled set-up/take-down of Center/Parish events when applicable.

    Must be able to lift 50lbs and have a valid NJ driver’s license. Paid holidays and potential full-time employment. Schedule is Monday through Thursday, 5:30am-11:00am and Fridays 5:30am-12:30pm, starting salary at $16.50 per hour.
