This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information in connection with our websites and online services that link to this policy (the “Site”). It covers activities for St. Francis Community Center / LBICC, Inc. and program/event registrations associated with St. Francis Parish LBI.

By using the Site or providing information to us, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1) What We Collect

Information you provide directly (for example, when you register for events or classes, purchase tickets, make inquiries, or join our email lists):
• First and last name
• Email address
• Mailing/home address
• Phone number (if provided)
• Event/class/ticket selections and related details
• Donation or purchase details (processed by our payment partners; we do not store full card numbers)

Information we collect automatically when you visit the Site:
• Device and browser information, IP address, pages viewed, time on page, referring/exit pages
• General analytics and similar usage data (e.g., via cookies, pixels, or similar technologies)

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information through the Site.

2) How We Use Your Information

We use personal information to:
• Register you for events, classes, programs, and ticketed activities
• Communicate about schedules, updates, cancellations/closures, or policy changes
• Send announcements and promotions about our nonprofit activities, classes, and events (you can unsubscribe or opt out at any time)
• Send SMS, MMS, or email messages about program updates, closures, alerts, and offers (see Section 15)
• Process payments/donations and provide receipts
• Maintain our records and comply with applicable laws
• Operate, secure, analyze, and improve the Site and our services

Marketing: Data usage is primarily for promoting our classes, events, and nonprofit activities.

3) How We Share Information

We do not sell or “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We may disclose information to:
• Service providers/contractors that help us operate the Site and our programs (e.g., email/SMS delivery platforms, payment processors, event/registration systems, analytics providers). They may only use the data to provide services to us.
• Authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
• Successors in the unlikely event of organizational changes involving data transfers consistent with this policy.

4) Cookies & Analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site and understand usage (e.g., page performance, aggregate statistics). You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may limit some features. Analytics providers process usage data on our behalf to help us improve our services.

• Email preferences: Every marketing email includes an Unsubscribe link.
• SMS/MMS opt-out: You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message, or by contacting us at info@stfrancislbi.org (see Section 15).
• Access, correction, deletion: You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, subject to applicable law and record-retention needs (see Section 7).
• Do-Not-Track: Our Site does not currently respond to browser “Do-Not-Track” signals.

6) Children’s Privacy

Our online services are intended for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 online. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.

7) Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described here, including:
• active program and communication needs;
• legal, tax, and audit requirements (e.g., transaction records may be kept for up to 7 years); and
• security and fraud-prevention efforts.
When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information we process. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9) Payments

Online payments and donations are processed by third-party payment processors. We receive limited transaction details (e.g., amount, date) and do not store full payment card numbers on our systems.

10) International Visitors

If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the U.S. By using the Site, you acknowledge such transfer, processing, and storage.

11) Third-Party Links

Our Site may link to third-party websites or services we do not control. Their practices are governed by their own policies. We encourage you to review those policies when you visit third-party sites.

12) State & Regional Privacy Rights

Depending on your location (e.g., certain U.S. states or the EU/EEA/UK), you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, or to object/limit certain processing. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be posted on this page, and, where appropriate, we may notify you by email or through the Site.

15) SMS/MMS & Email Communications (Disclosure)

• What we send: We may use SMS, MMS, and email to communicate about our programs, classes, events, offers, updates, closures, and important alerts.
• How you enroll: You may provide consent to receive messages when you register for programs/events, create an account, donate, or otherwise provide your contact information. Consent is not a condition of purchase or participation.
• Frequency: Message frequency varies.
• Charges: Message and data rates may apply.
• Opt-out: Reply STOP to any text message to opt out of SMS/MMS. For help, reply HELP or contact info@stfrancislbi.org. You can also request removal by contacting our office.
• Email unsubscribe: Use the Unsubscribe link at the bottom of our emails or contact info@stfrancislbi.org.
• Who sends messages: Messages may be sent by us or by our service providers on our behalf. We do not sell your personal information.
• Carrier disclaimer: Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• Data use: We use your contact information to deliver the messages you request/consent to receive and to maintain records of your preferences.
