UPDATED: IMPORTANT NOTICE:Aquatic Center Emergency Leak Repair Update
Aquatic Center Update
June 8, 2026
We are currently addressing a significant infrastructure issue at the Aquatic Center involving the water supply lines that serve the restroom and shower facilities.
This repair is more complex than a standard plumbing issue, as the affected lines are located beneath the concrete pool deck. To reduce the risk of future disruptions and costly repairs, we are working with licensed professionals to determine the best long-term solution.
At this time, toilets and sinks remain operational, but hot water is temporarily unavailable in the shower areas.
We appreciate our pool patrons’ patience and understanding as we work through this important repair. Additional updates will be shared as more information becomes available.

Dear St. Francis Community,
There is a significant leak in either the supply or return shower lines in the aquatic center, with water draining into the parking lot in front of the building. To repair the cracked/leaking line, both a mason and a plumber will be required.
The mason will first saw-cut into the pool deck along the eastern side near the mechanical room. The plumber will then excavate beneath the concrete, locate the damaged pipe, and complete the repair.
The pool deck opening will remain exposed for approximately two days to ensure the repair is holding and that no additional leaks are present. Once the plumbing work is confirmed to be complete, the mason will return to close and restore the deck.
The total duration of the project is expected to be about five days. The pool facility can remain open during the plumbing work, but will need to close during the masonry work (saw cutting/drilling).
We are hopeful the contractors can begin this emergency repair next week (no start as of Friday 5/8). We are coordinating contractors and once we know the start date of the repair schedule it will be re-communicated with any new updates.
