Trike-a-thon Fun at St. Francis Preschool Supports a Great Cause
This week was an exciting one at St. Francis Preschool, as students, teachers, and families came together for a fun and meaningful Trike-a-thon event. The activity wasn’t just about riding tricycles, it was an opportunity to combine learning, community spirit, and generosity into one memorable experience.
Throughout the week leading up to the event, preschoolers learned important lessons about road safety. Teachers introduced basic concepts such as stopping at “signs,” looking both ways, and understanding how to stay safe while riding. By turning these lessons into a hands-on activity, students were able to practice what they learned in a playful and engaging way.
On the day of the Trike-a-thon, the excitement was contagious. Children proudly rode their tricycles along the course, demonstrating their new safety skills while cheering each other on. The event created a supportive and energetic atmosphere that highlighted both fun and learning.
Beyond the smiles and laughter, the preschool community also made a meaningful impact. Together, they raised over $300 in support of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. This contribution helps provide care and support for children and families facing serious illnesses, adding a powerful sense of purpose to the event.
The Trike-a-thon at St. Francis Preschool was a wonderful reminder that even the youngest members of a community can make a difference. By combining education, fun, and philanthropy, the event not only taught valuable safety skills but also fostered compassion and generosity in every participant.
